Staff were lovely and friendly, and I see that the Sunday roasts have good reviews. However, I had roast lamb, but it was not proper carved meat. The vegetables weren't that brilliant, and the pudding I had seemed like it was bulk bought, not homemade. I guess I like real food too much but most of my friends liked it, so I hope you do too.

Not the first time we have visited this pub but yesterday we came here with friends for a little pre Easter meal and catch up. Service, food and atmosphere all 5* Can't rate this pub enough. Family friendly and the staff are so lovely. Will definitely be coming back more this summer!

Had theeeee most delicious Sunday roast for Mother's Day at The Plough. The meal was hot, delicious and a good assortment of vegetables. Puddings were to die for. The staff were fantastic. Highly recommend.

New to the area and had a lovely Sunday roast here with my partner. Food was excellent (minted lamb shank should be award winning) and the chocolate fudge cake 10/10. What topped it off was the service. Everyone smiled at us and were welcoming from the moment we came through the door. Special shout out to Lily who served us throughout with great humour and a beaming smile. We will be back!

We was greeted by Lily who was our waitress, she was just amazing, her customer service was outstanding, what a lovely place for a Sunday roast…. Traditional home cooked and so delicious, definitely recommend.
